What’s the difference between Intro to Pole and Beginner Pole?
This is a great question! Our Intro to Pole class is designed specifically for people who have never pole danced before. This way you can dance alongside other first-timers and get comfortable. The Beginner Pole classes are a little more fast paced and cater to dancers who have recently started pole dancing and are working to perfect and add style to the fundamentals.
What do I wear?
For the best grip on the pole, please wear shorts or capri leggings that can be rolled up above the knee. A tank top or sports bra is perfect and don’t worry about bringing heels to wear, most dancers start out barefoot to get comfortable first!
I have no upper body strength! Can I still try this?
Yes, yes, a THOUSAND TIMES yes! Upper body strength is not a pre-requisite to start because pole dancing strengthens and conditions your entire body as you learn. You’ll find that after a few classes, you’ll be moving with confidence. Your style is completely unique, so there is no right or wrong way to move to the music! Just come as you are and we’ll show you everything you need to know.
How do I find the studio?
To park, plug “125 Court Street, White Plains, NY” in to your GPS to go directly to the municipal lot right behind our building. On Mamaroneck Avenue, we are on the second floor above Mario’s Pizza, look for the brick doorway with number 110 above it!
